I’ve said before that I’m still learning. I started crochet when I was about six and practiced on and off through my early teens, but it’s only been in the last 8 months that I’ve really rediscovered my passion for the craft; and only about 4 minutes the since I started learning amigurumi.
Most of what I’ve shown on the page so far are the pieces I’ve completed and am super proud of. However, there are hiccups along the way.
Even with a good pattern and taking time to read and execute the design, sometimes it just doesn’t work. Today was one of those times.
The design was for a “dumpling cat.” However, it turned out looking more like a deranged Easter bunny.
Despite my best efforts, I wasn’t able to save this kitty. She had to be scrapped. I learned some lessons for moving forward; but, it’s always hard to give up on a project.
